CAFÉ OLÉ ENDS ITS SEASON IN IBIZA AND BEGINS ITS WORLD TOUR

The party on Mondays at Space Ibiza collects over 300,000 attendees

Café Olé Ibiza closed its season 2013 last Monday night on the white island, having exceeded this summer the figure of 300,000 people who attended the party over the last five years of its new phase. Since last June, the line ups have featured international artists like Dita Von Teese, Bob Sinclar, Roger Sanchez, Fedde Le Grand, Porter Robinson or Danny Avila. Also, superstars of the EDM scene such as Funkagenda, Mat Zo, Cedric Gervais, Boris, DJ Spen and Funkerman have passed through the booth Mondays at Space Ibiza; great veterans like Frankie Knuckles, CJ Mackintosh or Chus + Ceballos, and emerging artists like Mike Vale, Prok & Fitch, Rebecca & Fiona, Erik Hagleton, Third Party, The Cube Guys and Rene Amesz. Even residents have shown their worth, also the legendary Roger Sanchez, House South Brothers, Rafha Madrid, Danny Leblack and Marco Loco.

Without a doubt, the visit that generated the most excitement and impact in all Spanish media, was Dita Von Teese. The world Queen's Burlesque presented the night of August 26, exclusively and for the first time in Europe, her show Rhinestone Cowgirl, for a packed audience totally dedicated to the artist. In addition to Dita, the residence of singerUltra Naté for 5 weeks and visits from celebrities Amanda Lepore and Rossy de Palmawere part of the entertainment at Café Olé over a season that has taken place for 13 dates from June 24 to September 16.

The 2013 season symbolizes a new success for the most genuinely Ibiza party of Space Ibiza. A new theme and a new position in the weekly calendar of the Playa d'en Bossa club, were the most important news this summer that comes to an end. Burlesque, Back to the Disco, Pervert, Motel and the latest addition to this year, Freak are the themes with which Café Olé has been presented. Freak masterfully joined music and entertainment. A show filled with grotesque characters of Freak Show culture from the late nineteenth century has immersed us in a world where an illusory and utopian world where we all deserve a chance to be what we are not.

On the other hand, the change of day of the party, which happened to be held every Monday of the season with great success, has vouched itself as the indispensable "house and show" party Mondays on a weekly calendar of the clubbing scene on the island. In a time when new projects come and other veterans cease to exist, Café Olé continually reinvents itself and remains at the forefront of the most advanced parties of Ibiza after 14 years of existence. In its first stage as the Saturday mornings' after hours at Space Ibiza, and after five years in its second stage at night time, first Wednesdays, later Saturdays and now Mondays.

Café Olé Ibiza is already preparing for next season promising more unforgettable moments, more music from great international DJs and more shows with guest artists, true to their principle: lots of fun. Even saying goodbye to the summer season in Ibiza, Café Olé continues to provide its essence around the world. Cities such as Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Balneario Camboriu, Sao Paulo, Moscow, London, Tel Aviv, Paris, Aigues-Mortes, Santa Cruz and Milan are some of the locations where Café Olé will hand out the magic of the island of Ibiza during this coming winter.
