Café Olé introduced its new season last night at Space with totally crowded rooms and a new theme party that retrieves the most pure essence of the most insane nights that turned Ibiza into a world icon for hedonism, avant-garde and clubbing culture on the 80's and 90's. The outrageous characters wandering among the Café Olé Freak's audience left no one indifferent. The synergy between odd freaks, very involved actors, an amazing atrezzo, a surprising entertainment and dance group and a devoted audience, created a magical and unique atmosphere. Space has just experienced last night one of these nights defining Café Olé; lack of inhibition, happiness and show. Seamlessly going around, extravagant characters like bearded women, Star Trek troops, monkey astronauts, Baby Jane or 70's dancers and hairdressers passed by whole night long.
All of this under a friendly atmosphere where madness fitted in on perfect harmony. An enormous thrown, a giant lipstick, a beauty saloon right in the middle of the dance floor, a flying horse, madhouse jails, and devoted audience set the pace. The audience, including many characters and very well known artists from other parties in the island, enjoyed the great music from our resident DJs and the invited artists. The most relevant performance of the night was the Spanish Chus+Ceballos on the Terrace DJ booth and Danny Avila and Rebecca & Fiona at La Discoteca. It was also impressive the sounds of Café Olé residents: House South Brothers, Rafha Madrid, Danny Leblack and Marco Loco.
